Rococo Paintings
Rococo art is an 18th-century artistic movement and style, affecting many aspects of the arts including oil painting. Rococo artists and architects used a more jocular, florid, and graceful approach to the Baroque. Their style was ornate and used light colours, asymmetrical designs, curves, and gold. Rococo paintings is now widely recognized as a major period in the development of European art. Toperfect shows the artworks by famous Rococo painters including Jean-Antoine Watteau, François Boucher, Jean-Honoré Fragonard, Thomas Gainsborough, and Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin.

With a heavy relation to the Baroque movement, Rococo paintings can be considered the later and more mature version of Baroque. The French style movement was developed in the 18th century and starred artists like Francois Boucher, Jean-Antoine Watteu and Jean-Honore. The influence of Rococo extended to furniture, creating a style that improved on many designs, and often brought out the best in sculpture for the period. Rococo oil paintings received similar treatment, with a style that would take on a form all of its own, and mirror the often French stylistic points of the current period, both old and new. -- The Copyright of Scripts is Reserved by Toperfect.
