Evelyn De Morgan, 1855-1919 , female, was an English Pre-Raphaelite painter. Works of Botticelli influenced her to move away from the classical subjects favoured by the Slade school and to make her own painting style. In 1887, she married the ceramicist William De Morgan. There is a permanent exhibition of some of best-known Evelyn De Morgan paintings at the part of the Wandsworth Museum in London. -- The Copyright of Scripts is Reserved by Toperfect.
