Biography Frida KahloKahlo Frida claimed that she was born in 1910 because that The Mexican Revolution began in that year, her purpose is that want people associate her with the revolution. But in fact that Frieda Kahlo was already three in 1910. She contracted polio at age of six, and maybe also suffered from spina bifida. Little girl Kahlo Frieda participated in boxing and other sports and was enrolled by one of Mexico's premier schools. But misfortune, Kahlo Frieda was riding in a bus that collided with a trolley car in 1925 so that she suffered serious injuries by an iron handrail pierced her abdomen and uterus, she lost reproductive capacity. As a result of the accident Khalo Frida had thirty-five operations. As results of the accident, the Mexican artist neglected the study of medicine to begin her career as a painter. She met and married art teacher Diego on 1929, Diego and Frida divorced in 1939, but remarried in 1940. She had been very ill, due to gangrene, her right leg had been amputated at the knee in 1953. Frida Kahlo died on July 13, 1954, just at age of 47. In autobiography of Diego Rivera, he wrote that the day was the most tragic day of his life, too late, he had realized that the most wonderful part of his life was the love between Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. |
