Pyotr Konchalovsky (Petr Petrovich Konchalovsky, Russian: Пётр Петро́вич Кончало́вский; 1876 – 1956) was a Russian painter, a member of the Jack of Diamonds group. He mostly drew still lifes and landscapes, portraits (often Ceremonial Portraits) that were considered as the examples of Socialist Realism style. He was a founding member of the society Jack of Diamonds in 1909.
In 2007, oil painting on canvas by Pyotr Konchalovsky, WHEAT REAPERS, was sold for 894,100 GBP on Sotheby's auction of RUSSIAN ART EVENING in LONDON.
