Alfred de Breanski, British painter, 1852-1928, was regarded as one of England’s most accomplished landscape artists. His patrons included Sir James Lemon and the Bishop of Peterborough. The oil painting of Breanski is represented in several museums including Southampton Art Gallery and the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne.
