Fernando Botero BiographyBorn in 1932, in Medellin, Colombia, Botero is an illustrator in his early years. From 1953 to 1955, he studied the fresco techniques and art history. He lived in New York from 1960 to 1970. Botero’s inspiration is mainly from Italy Renaissance. In this phase, he began his trails on canvas painting fat figures in a compressed space. |
